This book is a compilation of messages I’ve taught at the Christian Family Centre over the years and shared at Pastors’ and Leaders’ Conferences throughout the world. It’s based on a deep passion and life-long conviction: I love Jesus’ Church!

Over the past forty years it’s been my great privilege to serve Jesus through His beautiful bride and magnificent body. I’ve tried to stay true to the New Testament picture of the church even though my observations are through my limited eyes and in the context of a first world nation; admittedly one going through a profound cultural shift away from its western Christian foundations.

Throughout this book, my heart is to honestly share my church journey. Over the next 150 or so pages I write about some of my experiences, both good and bad, to illustrate and distill the learning I’ve discovered along the way.
